The Best Car Smoke Odor Removal in Wichita

Using the right steps in order to reduce and eliminate smoke odor

Intense Smells Requires Intense Cleaning

Smoke odor can be a persistent and unpleasant problem in vehicles. The lingering smell of cigarette smoke or other burnt materials can be difficult to remove and can negatively impact the driving experience. As a car detailer, we have the expertise and specialized equipment to effectively eliminate stubborn smoke odors from your vehicle’s interior.

Smoke particles can cling to fabrics, carpets, and other surfaces, making the odor linger long after the smoking has stopped. This can be especially problematic for those with allergies or sensitivities, as the smell can be irritating and unpleasant. Our cleaning solutions and techniques are designed to penetrate deep into the upholstery and fibers, removing the source of the odor and leaving your vehicle with a fresh, clean scent.

In addition to the unpleasant smell, smoke odor can also contribute to the deterioration of your vehicle’s interior. The tar and chemicals in smoke can stain and discolor surfaces, leading to a worn and unsightly appearance. Our comprehensive detailing services can restore the original condition of your vehicle’s interior, ensuring that it looks and smells as good as new.

As experienced car detailers, we understand the importance of providing a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience. That’s why we take great pride in our ability to effectively eliminate smoke odors and revitalize the interior of your vehicle. Trust us to help you reclaim the fresh, clean scent of your car and enjoy a more pleasant driving experience.

Smoke Odor Removal and Cleaning Process

This is not our full interior cleaning, it is a much more thorough clean-out of the particles and odor stuck in the interior. We require for your vehicle to be dropped off at our home garage for a minimum of one day/night to be able to complete our full process.

On an interior cleaning we remove dirt and ensure that all surfaces are cleaned. However, our goal for the Odor Removal Process is to eliminate the layer of nicotine and tobacco left behind from smoking in the car. This is a long term solution, we do not want the odor to come back.

There are not many places that specialize in proper smoke odor removal in Wichita. Shampooing the seats is not the long term solution you may be looking for. If you have a recent lingering odor and have not had an interior detail in a few months, you may be looking for our Interior service.

Fortunately, our process is rigorous and has been proven to eliminate the smell from vehicles that have been smoked in. We are confident in this process and if you’d like we can schedule a time to have us come look at the vehicle so we can discuss options and show you what we do.

The Steps to Remove Odor

Number 1 Interior Vacuum and Wipe Down
We will thoroughly vacuum and wipe every surface like the start of our interior process. This sets up the car for odor removal

Number 2 Clean and Detail All Surfaces
Using our smoke odor cleaner, all the surfaces of the interior will be thoroughly cleaned and tended to (even the hard to reach areas)

Number 3 Carpet and Headliner Extraction
With a hot water extractor a tobacco specific cleaner, and a polisher, the seats, carpet, floor mats, seat belts, and headliner will be shampooed

Number 4  Windows and Re-check
Interior windows and mirrors that may have smoke residue will be cleaned and we’ll make sure there is no remaining dirt

Number 5 Completely Dry Interior
Before our last step we must dry the vehicle 100%. We’ll place air movers across the interior to speed up the drying. Based on the condition, this may take more time.

Number 6 Ozone Treatment
The finisher of smoke odor removal. With our commercial grade Ozone machine, it will run 2-5 hours depending on the condition and is repeated as necessary to deliver satisfiable results.

It is necessary for us to remove and replace the cabin air filter. The old filter may contain trapped smoke odor and we need to remove it in order to complete our process.

It can take up to 10-15 hours to completely finish our process. Most of the time comes from drying the vehicle and running the Ozone treatment. This is why we’ll require a day/night drop off.

Smoke Odor Removal FAQs

Can you guarantee the odor will be removed?

It all comes down to how severe the smoke damage is. In our smoke odor removal process we remove as much as we can, and if possible, eliminate it altogether. However, if it persists after a few days you can bring it back over and we will run another Ozone treatment at no extra cost.

Can you do this at my home or office location?

We will do these services at our home garage to guarantee we will have enough time and tools on location to get it done. We do offer mobile interior cleaning but due to the extensiveness of the cleaning, we can not travel away from our home garage for this process. The heat, rain, humidity, and debris that gets in the way while being outdoors makes it difficult to do the job properly.

On top of that, the job can take 10+ hours to complete. For the best results, we want care for your vehicle at our garage.

Will there be a lot of Chemical smell after?
Nope! This is one of the reasons why we require you to drop off the vehicle at our garage. We need to be able to air it out and that takes awhile. We expedite the process by placing multiple air-movers across the interior.

Can you remove every stain?
Due to the nature of stains and the material it’s on, some will come off better than others. We use our knowledge, experience, and premium tools, but even with all that, if a stain has lasted too long it may only be cleaned so much.
They did great work on the inside on outside of my car. I had stains from 5 years ago that they got out. Thank you!
